Backer Surveys are en route!
5 months ago – Fri, Dec 04, 2020 at 03:46:39 PM

Good evening all!

I just hit send on the backerkit "Smoke Test." This means 5% of surveys across all pledge levels were sent, as long as there are no issues, I'll send the rest in a few hours!

If you had an add-on during the campaign, you will have additional credit for that amount and get to pick the specific item in the add-ons section.

If you didn't have any add-ons, but wish to do so, you still can, just pick what you'd like and you'll be able to pay for them at the end of the survey!

This has been a great campaign so far and there's some extra stuff on there that wasn't available before, so if you see something you're interested in, make sure to scoop it up!

One more campaign to check out!

This one is from fellow creator Will Allred who you may know from his Diary of Night series.

When stories come to life and threaten to fracture reality beyond repair, only an English professor and a research librarian have the knowledge and smarts to save us all. Join Hank Wallace and Hector Ramirez in Crossover Division #1 as they repel fictional realities that crossover into reality.

Final Art Reveal and Backer Surveys going out soon!
5 months ago – Sun, Nov 29, 2020 at 01:03:08 AM

I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful turkey day and to all our international backers who don't celebrate, I hope you just had a great Thursday :)

The BackerKit is all setup, just needs one last good review before I send it out, hopefully in the next few days (maybe even today). In the meantime, I have our final art review for Eric Chen's cover!

Eric's cover goes to everyone who pledged over $30 on the absolutely free! You can also add it or select it for any tier.

We're getting closer and closer to seeing this book in print and I can't wait!

Check this other Kickstarter going on now!

A father with superpowers, leaves his wife and daughter to become “Invulnerable” - the world’s only superhero. Ten years later his daughter discovers that she has inherited the very superpowers that made her father leave their family.

In our newest installment, Invulnerable has been kidnapped by the KGB - led by none other than Casey’s mother, Jessica Ryder. Casey never wanted to be like her father, but will Invulnerable’s kidnapping cause Casey to embrace her super heroic roots?

It’s the penultimate issue of our first arc, and we promise nothing will be the same following our finale!

Time Running out on Cthulhu Invades Oz and a little preview of some Special Items on backer Surveys!
5 months ago – Sun, Nov 22, 2020 at 01:16:29 AM

Happy Saturday everyone!

We had a pretty good recovery rate on the errored backers, with only 8 total out of 474 dropping. It happens, I'm not upset, for those of you who are still here...THANK YOU AGAIN!

I hope to have the Surveys out before Thanksgiving, just waiting on a few graphics.

In the meantime, here are a few items that will be available in limited quantities that weren't available during the campaign!

I'll post here again when it's time for Surveys to go out!

Cthulhu Invades Oz ending soon

The other campaign I have live right now is approaching the end and we're still a little short of funding.

With just over 3 days to go and a little of $1000 to meet our funding goal, there is still time to back.

Don't forget if you backed this campaign and back the Cthulhu Invades Oz campaign for physical tiers...

While I have your attention, here's another campaign to checkout!

Imprisoned in her mystical sleep for fifteen hundred years, give or take, Morgan Le Fay has been discovered & restored to a shadow of her former glory by a cabal of powerful beings calling themselves the Triple Moon. For no less than thirteen years, Le Fay will serve this group, and at the end of that service she will be given the means by which she can restore her power. Until that time, she will be their trouble shooter, on call 24/7, no job too big or too small. The Triple Moon’s very own private investigator.

*WARNING* This campaign does feature some NSFW image (not suitable for work).

Still waiting on funds and a few errored backers
5 months ago – Thu, Nov 19, 2020 at 02:21:32 PM

Just a quick checkin to let everyone know I'm working behind the scenes to get everything ready for everyone to pick out there books in BackerKit and add some other fun stuff.

Stickers and magnets are already in hand and they look great!

I'm working on some signature options as well!

Right now we have 12 backers who have pledges that have haven't gone through, I think the deadline is tomorrow at midnight, so hopefully most or all of them get corrected!

Francesca is working away on new pages for Stake now, so hopefully we'll have some fun stuff to share with you soon!

Check out Kevin Joseph's Tart!

Kevin is a fellow scout creator who has a really fun series with a strong female protagonist (sounds like something you might like if you dig Stake...)

They pop in and out of time spreading discord and strife. Any change they cause could destroy history as we know it.

A group of time traveling soldiers stands against them. They call themselves The Toxic Fruit.

In Tart 11, the two newest recruits are taken on one last training mission before they join the fight. Their task: infiltrate Nazi Germany during the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

In Tart 12, the entire Toxic Fruit Organization must band together to try to repel The son of the King of Hell.

  • A total of 52 brand new pages of Time traveling, demon hunting adventure.
  • Two new issues delivered together to maximize shipping costs.
  • An issue of stealth, followed by an issue of all out war.

We did it! The Campaign has ended, now what?
5 months ago – Fri, Nov 13, 2020 at 11:50:05 PM

30 days have come and gone. It feels like it was the blink of an eye, but here we are!

This campaign way surpassed what I was thought we could accomplish and I'm truly humbled.

On behalf of myself and the whole Stake team...THANK YOU.

As many of you know, Kickstarter has begun collecting funds. This process lasts for about a week as they attempt to collect funds from failed credit card attempts. We had 35 of those, but are already down to 22 as of this writing. This can happen for any number of reasons and most will get resolved. If you're unsure, there should have been an email from Kickstarter letting you know, but I'll also be sending out notices in a few days.

Right now I'm working on building out the surveys and additional add-ons in Backerkit. This is where you will choose your covers and have an opportunity to add more if you'd like. I will also be adding some surprises from the previous campaign and maybe some other things that have never been for sale!

Once the funds are released from Kickstarter I'll send out surveys (likely before then, but there's a lot of minutia on this one) and we can get this thing rolling!

If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to drop me a line!

What better day than Friday the 13th to share...
